Profile of Chun Choi Chu
Chun Choi Chu, Consultant with speciality in RF design and development.
Choi has extensive experience and expertise in the RF requirements for
GSM, PCS, CDMA 2000 and UMTS developments. He has worked with a number
of the leading suppliers in the radio equipment marketplace with an emphasis
on LNA, and synthesiser design in the complete receiver (or transmitter)
chain architecture for both base stations and handsets. An important part
of RF design and development is the use of simulation tools and the implications
of layout and transmission line matching with the PCB CAD design package
to fit the selected materials and components with associated EMI/EMC screening.
Choi has gained considerable knowledge of RF problem solving and cost
reduction strategies over a number of different projects. He gained his
BEng (Hons) and MSc in Electronics, Communications and Space Technology
in the UK, Choi is fluent in Chinese (Cantonese and Hakka).
