Profile of Bill Gates
Bill Gates, Consultant with technical speciality in Mechanical Engineering
and proven project manager of multi-disciplined design and development
projects. Bill is a specialist in system thermal management and design,
in the use of all materials for product cost and assembly advantages,
in the impact of vibration and shock for a wide range of applications,
in general design and mechanical engineering. These specialist skills
complement his extensive knowledge and expertise in enclosure designs,
electrical, optic and electronic packaging and design, in pneumatics and
hydraulics systems to project manage these complex packages and assemblies
into production units. Bill has gained experience in the electronic, railway,
defence, aerospace and telecommunication industries in finding solutions
for mechanical and other system requirements. He has worked in Europe
and the Far East with different cultures and teams to bring work packages
to successful completion. He has a wide range of experience with CAD tools,
the use of stress analysis and thermal modelling tools. Bill gained his
BSc (Hons) with the Open University in the UK. In his quieter moments
he is a keen darts player and actively undertakes long distance (100+
miles) hiking in wilderness areas.
