Profile of Mahendra Tailor
 Mahendra
Tailor, Consultant for hardware and systems aspects of complex electronic
design and development. He holds a number of patents for innovative designs
in electronics and telecommunications. Mahendra has gained over 25 years
of experience working with electronics and systems design mostly in the
hardware arena in finding practical cost effective solutions. He is a
specialist in telecommunications and has completed several projects for
GSM, X.25, ISDN, CT2, and DECT. Mahendra is currently working in the UMTS
field. His expertise in microprocessor and FPGA applications is complemented
with hands-on skills in analogue, high-speed buses, memory, synchronisation
and clocking issues through the architecture design to practical production
quality. Mahendra has gained experience of leading teams and projects
in Europe and the USA (he still maintains his Green Card status). These
teams are often a collection of different culture teams organised across
a mix of countries at diverse geographical locations. Mahendra has a BSc,
he is a chartered engineer, both MIERE and MIEE status.
